Announcing the Silver Mile Mixer at The District at Green Valley Ranch
Sunday, November 9th, The District at Green Valley Ranch will host the 2008 Silver Mile Mixer. The Silver Mile Mixer will be a block party featuring live entertainment, discounts and giveaways for Silverman attendees and athletes. The run portion of the race goes through the heart of the center so it will be an excellent place to grab a bite to eat or a refreshing cocktail and watch as the athletes finish the most grueling triathlon in North America.
Many of the retail and dining locations at The District will be offering some sort of discount or giveaway on race day, some confirmed participants include: La Salsa, Tacone, the Elephant Bar, Pink, Ethel M Chocolates, Kings Fish House, Pure Beauty, Aveda Salon, Williams Sonoma and we anticipate many more.
The outdoor shopping and dining center is conveniently located at I-215 and Green Valley Parkway, which is directly across from the Henderson Multi-Gen Center where the race expo will take place. The District offers a unique mix of lifestyle retail shops and restaurants for your convenience. The District creates a typically downtown environment in a suburban setting. A few of the dining and retail options include Whole Foods Market, REI, The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, New Balance Shoes and the Elephant Bar. Because of its unique character and design, the selection of shops, the many restaurants and its close proximity to the race, The District will be a great place for you and your family to gather the weekend of the race.
